CORNEAL MOLDING

Corneal Molding or orthokeratology is a revolutionary process that allows the patient to enjoy clear vision during the day without glasses or contacts. It is non-surgical, reversible and safe for children.

How does it work?

Corneal Molding uses Wavefront technology to gently shape the eye while your sleep. When you awake in the morning the mold is removed and clear vision is enjoyed through the day.

Who is this for?

Primary candidates are children and youth who are near sighted. There is evidence that orthokeratology can slow changes in prescription, preventing major refractive error in adulthood. Furthermore, those who want to be free of glasses or contacts for sports, convenience etc, are great candidates for corneal molding.

What is the process?

We will perform a comprehensive eye exam to determine your eye health. A custom lens is created using our Scout Topographer and Wave Software. A few nights of wearing your lens and you are ready to enjoy clear vision free of glasses and contacts.

RECENT STUDIES IN MYOPIC CONTROL

There is growing evidence that orthokeratology can slow the progression of myopia. This is an exciting development in a world where the incidence of myopia appears to be increasing. Check out the full list here.

Corneal molding is a revolutionary process where molds are worn at night to reshape your eyes during sleep. The molds are removed in the morning and clear vision is enjoyed during the day. It is safe for children and can even stop your prescription from getting worse.

Here's how it works. Call our office to receive our FREE consultation. If you qualify, you can receive corneal molding for 1/2 the cost of LASIK. If it doesn't work for you you will receive your money back (minus the exam which is paid for by insurance anyway). You can then choose from a year supply of soft contact lenses, 40% off glasses, or a $200 LASIK discount.
